Enterprises is owned and operated by Jeffrey
D. Kroll. It was founded for the purpose of serving the
humanities through a unique approach.
We find and restore specialty limited production
vehicles (such as old cars, trucks, vintage trailers,
etc.) but once restored
they are used for promotional events which may include
non-profit and for-profit fundraising.
Since our mission statement states that 50 percent of
our company's gross yearly income is used for the
benefit of many non-profit organizations such as the
Humane Society of Ventura County and others, we use
these one-of-a-kind vehicles for fundraising efforts,
car shows, movie rentals,
party events, private functions and of course our
personal use.
This site will only be focused on one such vehicle: "The
Boaterhome".
We acquired the Boaterhome in February 2002 and started
the restoration in June of 2004 with plans for the
Boaterhome to be completed by February 2005.
Having seen this vehicle in Popular Science magazine
back in 1986, I've always kept an eye open to purchase
one and add it to our list of one-of-a-kind vehicles.
We found that Sport King Industries had only
manufactured 21 of these vehicles.
It is the plan of Sport King Industries to produce a new
and better version of the Boaterhome concept.
